Rad Hourani
I recently found myself browsing the blogs and sifting through Tumblr to find some stand out unisex designers. It may be because I've become very interested in androgynous designs and aspire to the ultimate goal of being able to share my wardrobe with my boyfriend (this will never happen).
In some minimalist collections this can work as the simplicity of the shapes lend themselves kindly to either sex. With all the clever cutting and sleek tailored pieces seen within unisex collections, I can see myself becoming an avid fan of this ambi-gendered phenomenon.
The first unisex designer I'd like to recognise is Rad Hourani. Rad launched his first collection in 2007 and focuses on styles and silhouettes of the same unisex signature look offered in different materials and a more casual transformable fit. His label abides by a simple set of guidlines: No Gender, No Season, No Rules, Epitomising the value of freedom and unisex elegance. Well put Rad!

Another interesting unisex label I came across in my search was Odeur. This is a swedish design label (could you tell?) who are keen on lights, whites, and jersey. The design duo started the label as a experiment (oh how I wish I had their science teacher). The clothes seem super wearable and I can see their basics becoming a wardrobe staple and not just a seasonal throw-away. Asexual style seems to be catching on, they are even stocked on Asos nowadays.

Ksenia Schnaider
This final design label isn't exactly and unisex label, but I think they blur the line between women's and menswear. Apart from the dresses, most pieces could be warn by either x or y chromosome. Therefore, I am highlighting Ukrainian design duo Ksenia Schnaider in my list of unisex labels to watch. The main concept behind the brand is to create minimalist clothes that, in their strong beauty, reflect the contemporary.

A few other interesting Unisex labels to note:
1. Percival
2. Kit Neale
3. JW Anderson
If you know of any other Unisex collections worth noting, please leave me a comment as I'm eager to see more!
